Some are common, some rare, and many are conservation success stories. Over his forty-year career, Art has photographed many species that were once on endangered species lists, but are now flourishing, such as the bald eagle and humpback whale. These recoveries are an uplifting testament to the resilience of life. Art will be on hand to sign copies of Wild Lives before and after his presentation.

Nikon Canada Ambassador Michelle Valberg gives two Keynote presentations at MAPV 2024.  In The Dance of Life and Light Michelle delves into the dynamic interplay of life and light that defines her captivating wildlife images and shares details of her creative process, the challenges of capturing animals in their natural habitats, and the techniques she uses to bring her subjects to life.
In Wandering Perspectives, Michelle shares her approach to capturing the natural beauty of landscapes. From majestic mountains to serene seascapes and animalscapes, discover the techniques and stories behind her most captivating shots. Michelle’s presentations will inspire and educate both budding and experienced photographers, offering a fresh perspective on the art of wildlife and landscape photography.
