Here’s the list of Lancaster City venues that I believe will be showing some photographs (or photo-inspired art) this First Friday, January 2nd:

Mulberry Art Studios

“Scott Church – Legacy 2015” will feature the art of more than 60 photographers, with music by Trio Agave and The Dogs of Lust. Come celebrate Scott’s 25th year as a professional photographer. This is billed as the “Largest Annual Photography Show on the East Coast.”
Also, “Glow Art” will be presented by RA Vestal Photography from 5 to 9 PM.

“A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words” – a photo exhibit featuring the work of emerging photographer Luis J Quiñones. Join us on Friday January 2 from 6-9 PM for our first First Friday Art Show of 2015. The night will include engaging with the artist, engaging with his work, food, drinks and more.

First Friday Photography Venues for 2014-12-05

Here’s the list of Lancaster City venues that I believe will be showing some photographs (or photo-inspired art) this First Friday, December 5th:

Mulberry Art Studios

Lancaster Camera Club’s Annual Exhibition: In December, Lancaster Camera Club will debut this year’s collection of fine art photography from its members at Mulberry Art Studios. The public is invited to their First Friday Opening Reception on December 5th from 5pm until 9pm.

Coe Camera

This First Friday, Coe Camera will be hosting a special fund-raising event featuring the work of local professional photographers,The Wiebners. Joel and Rita Wiebner will be displaying select whimsical photos from their recent Winter Wonderland themed Teeny Weeny Wiebs mini-portrait sessions. Visitors to the gallery during First Friday will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite photos via a donation to Water Street Ministries!

The “Faculty Biennial” exhibit will be open to the public from 5 – 9 p.m. and feature work in a variety of media by almost 30 studio faculty members. Eight members of PCA&D’s faculty will also be hosting a book signing during our December 5th First Friday gallery reception. Artists/authors at the book signing include Charlie Beyl (illustration), Robert Hochgertel (illustration), Jeff Howe (liberal arts), Joe Kulka (illustration), Tim Roda (fine art), Luke Shaw (photography), Eric Weeks (photography), and Christine Welch (photography).
