Lancaster Camera Club will be hosting an open competition on Wednesday, 21 September 2011, themed “Lancaster County Farming”. The competition is open to the public, so non-members are encouraged to enter their images for a nominal fee and to come check out the club. Competition is a great experience.
More details are on the competition page. We hope to see you there.
Fredmiranda.com contains a broad range of information but what I find most useful are the camera and lens reviews. Also they have a great buy and sell section. Check it out and find all the other features. — Joe Hunt

Fellow photographer Tom Debiec writes:
I want to let you all know that on the First Friday of September (that’s this Friday!), I’ll be showing photos from a project called “The Kruger Deception”. The show will take place at the studio of Nick Gould Photography located at Prince and Chestnut Streets in the heart of the gallery district in downtown Lancaster. Stop by when you’re walking around to see what I’ve been up to.
