Lancaster Quilt & Textile Museum*

FABRIC: Fanciful and Boundless Renditions in Cloth.  Carol Piersol exhibits her intricate and unique work.  Piersol’s exhibit joins The Grid: Amish Quilts, Esprit Clothing, and Postmodern Design in the textile gallery.
In the museum store, Melissa Ward Carroll talksabout her quilt-inspired cards and her creative process, which begins with fine art photography of her late father’s mineral collection.

Painted Desert Gallery

The 16 Pound Rabbit Exhibition: This artist collective presents sculptures made of various materials such as books, chocolate and mirrors to make rabbits that weigh exactly 16 lbs. Other collaborative projects on display include photography and installations. Featured artists: Jennifer Blaisdell, AJ Nutter, Rose Principe, Cara Hutzley, Anthony Granados, and Amanda Ellinger.
